For those who want to take it a little bit further, they can go for the Best Carnival Display category. This involves transforming your premises, outside of just your window.

This competition is named after the late Claire Dodds who sadly passed away in 2020. Claire was an instumental part of Radcliffe-on-Trent, being a long-term member of staff at South Nottinghamshire Academy (formerly Dayncourt School) and working closely with the Nottingham 22nd Boys Brigade.

About Us

The Radcliffe on Trent Carnival takes place annually on the 2nd Saturday in July throughout the village, in the grounds of The Grange and and Grange Hall.

Each year there is a shop window competition, a procession plus a fete with stalls and a wide range of entertainment.

The money raised at the Carnival supports the charities and community groups of Radcliffe.

Join us on Saturday 12th July 2025 for the next Radcliffe on Trent Carnival.

The theme for 2025 is TBD.
The Procession will leave Bingham Road Sports Field at 1.00pm and head through the village where the fete and entertainment will be taking place from 12 -5pm.

This is site is run by the volunteers of the working group who ensure the event is a successful, safe and enjoyable one for everyone involved.
